8 signs that your nervous system needs support and what to do about it

Stress in the body is the most common cause of illness and so reducing its impact is at the forefront of my treatments, no matter if people come for a Health MOT, gut health or hormone balance or clearing of emotional or energy blockages.

Interestingly, I find not everyone is aware of how much stress is impacting them, yet awareness is the first step to healing... So here is a checklist: If you answer yes to some or most of these, it’s time to reset your nervous system (more on how below).

  1. You are always on edge, feeling nervous or anxious.

  2. You are in a constant state of overwhelm.

  3. You struggle to shut off your overactive, racing mind which may impact your sleep.

  4. You are often irritable and snappy with others, frequently losing your patience.

  5. You are constantly fatigued or exhausted.

  6. You struggle to focus and be present in conversations.

  7. You often find yourself scrolling through your phone, drinking alcohol or binge watching Netflix.

  8. You feel tension or even pain in your body and you don’t have daily bowel movements.

A recent survey showed that 70% of us are stressed and overwhelmed to the extent that it is negatively impacting our lives including our sense of fun, eating habits, alcohol consumption which further worsens the burden of stress on our immune system, gut and hormonal health. It’s no secret then that stress is the biggest cause of illness today.

Whether it’s in pursuit of balance and happiness or for the health of your gut and hormones, reducing the impact of stress on the body is key to a better and healthier life.

The 5 sessions will be recorded but are ideally attended live.
