What is Kinesiology and how does it work?
Emotional or physical stress can disrupt this natural flow of energy and disease is said to result when these pathways become blocked or imbalanced.
Why do imbalances occur in the body? For many reasons! Including, but not limited to:
Emotions, stressful experiences, food sensitivities, negative thoughts, poor digestion, inadequate nutrition, lack of sleep and dehydration.
Systematic Kinesiologists can help individuals to identify these blockages by using muscle testing techniques. Different muscles relate to different organs and healing systems or energy circuits within the body. When a muscle is weak, the energy of these organs is out of balance and body telling us this circuit needs support.
Kinesiology helps to uncover the root of your health issue by looking at physical, nutritional, emotional and energetical imbalances. A wide range of powerful techniques, acupressure massage and nutritional recommendations help guide you back to optimum health.
The theory of muscle testing was first developed by an orthopaedic surgeon, R.W.Lovett, who was working with polio victims in the 1930’s. It was further refined by a chiropractor, Dr. George Goodheart, in the 1960’s who added techniques from both Eastern and Western medicine.
The principles are now practiced worldwide by doctors, dentists, chiropractors, osteopaths, naturopaths, physiotherapists, nutritionists.
What do people say
I am pretty fit and sporty so was a bit dubious if any muscles would test weak but as it quite aptly turns out the muscle linked to my large intestine needed re-balancing which Ann did. I immediately felt 'much lighter' and still now a week later my IBS has settled and I have much more energy.
Last night was the first night in about six weeks I haven't taken paracetamol in the evening, and I SLEPT! The pain in my leg has dramatically improved. I really can't thank you enough! I'll definitely be back for more.
I went to see Ann just to have a balance and have anything which is out of sync sorted before it becomes a problem. I didn't think kinesiology could help with candida and I almost didn't mention it but, I am not kidding, there was no trace of visible candida that evening or since!
